The Ambassadors Big Band - has been around since 1957. The
current leader since 1993 is Michael Letovsky. The band performs music from the
1930s to the present, in a big band style. Swing and ballroom dancing is our specialty.
You can hear many unique arrangements for music by; Benny Goodman, Miller, Dorsey, James,
Ellington. The band has excellent male and female vocalists, and is one of the few bands
today that uses a vocal quartet, "The Diplomats", that draws from members within

joined forces to create a 16 member big band specializing in vintage swing music from the

Paul King, former lead vocalist for the Tuxedo Junction Swing Orchestra, has joined forces
with former members of Tuxedo Junction, as well as other musicians from the Imperial Swing
Orchestra, Johnny Trudell Orchestra, The Bob Hopkins Orchestra and the Swing Shift
Orchestra to become "Paul King and the Rhythm Society. They haven't changed their

The Rhythm Section Jazz Band - The Rhythm Section Jazz
Band is directed by Paul Sherwood. The band is a core band of 10 musicians, 3 saxes, a
trombone, trumpet, piano, guitar, bass and drums. We also perform as a full 20 piece big
band. We play songs from a library of over 2,600 arrangements spanning from 1910
through the contemporary arrangers.
We play: Classic Jazz, Swing, 60's and 70's Hits, Latin (rumba, tango, cha-cha, bosa nova,
samba, etc), Jump, Stomp, even polkas and country tunes are at our command. This makes us
an excellent choice of band for professional or serious amateur dancers. Our vast

The Sax Maniacs - Redford, MI. The Sax Maniacs are
a four-piece band out of the Detroit area, performing a mix of funky cover tunes and
special original material off their new CD titled, Will The Last One Out Of Detroit Please
Turn Out The Lights! Their style is a cross between super cool swingin sax tunes
from the 50s & 60s like Peter Gun, Honky Tonk and Night Train to classic
rock and Motown hits like Aint To Proud To Beg, Mustang Sally and I Feel Good by
